ATP6AP1 Antibody (YA4304) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to ATP6AP1. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse.

ATP6AP1 is an accessory subunit of the proton-transporting vacuolar (V)-ATPase protein pump, essential for luminal acidification of secretory vesicles. It directs the V-type ATPase into specialized subcellular compartments, such as neuroendocrine regulated secretory vesicles or the osteoclast ruffled border, modulating its activity. Additionally, ATP6AP1 is involved in membrane trafficking and Ca²⁺-dependent membrane fusion, and may contribute to V-type ATPase complex assembly. Under aerobic conditions, it regulates intracellular iron homeostasis, activating Fe²⁺ prolyl hydroxylase (PHD) enzymes, leading to HIF1A hydroxylation and subsequent proteasomal degradation. In pancreatic islet cells, it may regulate acidification of dense-core secretory granules (by similarity).
