ATG2A Antibody (YA4320)

ATG2A Antibody (YA4320) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to ATG2A. It can be applicated for ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

ATG2A is a lipid transfer protein involved in autophagosome assembly. It tethers the edge of the isolation membrane (IM) to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and mediates direct lipid transfer from the ER to the IM for IM expansion. ATG2A binds to the ER exit site (ERES), the membrane source for autophagosome formation, extracts phospholipids, and transfers them to ATG9 (ATG9A or ATG9B) to promote IM membrane expansion. Its lipid transfer activity is enhanced by WIPI1 and WDR45/WIPI4, which promote ATG2A association with phosphatidylinositol 3-monophosphate (PI3P)-containing membranes. Additionally, ATG2A regulates lipid droplet morphology and distribution within the cell.
