ZEB1 Antibody (YA6252) is a rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to AREB6. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, IP, ELISA assays, in the background of human, rat.

AREB6 functions as a transcriptional repressor that inhibits interleukin-2 (IL-2) gene expression and modulates the promoter activity of the ATP1A1 gene depending on cDNA quantity and cell type. It represses the E-cadherin promoter and induces epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by recruiting SMARCA4/BRG1. In the presence of the corepressor CTBP1, AREB6 suppresses BCL6 transcription while positively regulating neuronal differentiation and repressing RCOR1 transcriptional activation during neurogenesis. It represses transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). In the absence of TGFB1, AREB6 acts as a repressor of COL1A2 transcription via E-box binding in the upstream enhancer region (By similarity).
