Description	Adiponectin Antibody (YA639) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Adiponectin.
Background	Adiponectin is a key adipokine that regulates fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity, exhibiting direct anti-diabetic, anti-atherogenic and anti-inflammatory properties. It stimulates AMPK phosphorylation in the liver and skeletal muscle to enhance glucose utilization and fatty-acid oxidation. This protein also antagonizes TNF-alpha by suppressing its expression in tissues like liver and macrophages while counteracting its biological effects. Moreover, Adiponectin inhibits endothelial NF-kappa-B signaling via a cAMP-dependent pathway. Depending on its complex forms (LMW, MMW or HMW), Adiponectin may bind and sequester various growth factors with distinct affinities, thereby modulating cell growth, angiogenesis and tissue remodeling.
