Eptapirone fumarate  (Synonyms: F 11440 fumarate)

Eptapirone fumarate (F11440 fumarate) is a potent, selective and orally active 5-HT_1A receptor agonist (pK_i = 8.33). Eptapirone fumarate can inhibit cAMP production. Eptapirone fumarate can reduce 5-HT levels and increase corticosterone levels. Eptapirone fumarate shows potent anxiolytic and antidepressant potential. Eptapirone fumarate can be used for the research of neurological disease, such as anxiety and depression^[1].

Eptapirone fumarate decreases the Forskolin (HY-15371)-induced stimulation of cAMP with an pEC₅₀ value of 6.8 in HeLa cells^[1].
