Dimethyl methylene blue zinc chloride double salt  (Synonyms: DMMB)

Cat. No.: HY-W751238
Handling Instructions Technical Support

Dimethyl methylene blue zinc chloride double salt (DMMB) is a cationic dye. Dimethyl methylene blue zinc chloride double salt competitively binds to the active site of the PANI-Benz-Ag nanocomposite with endotoxin, releasing DMMB and increasing the fluorescence intensity. Dimethyl methylene blue zinc chloride double salt can be used as a fluorescent probe for the detection of bacteria (such as E. Coli) endotoxin.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
