Description

Creatine phosphokinase, Rabbit muscle (CPK) catalyzes the reversible reaction of creatine and ATP to form phosphocreatine and ADP. Creatine phosphokinase is a key enzyme for maintaining a constant ATP/ADP ratio during rapid energy turnover[1].

In Vitro

Instructions
It can be dissolved and stored at 1mg/ml using 20 mM Tris (pH8.0), avoiding repeated freezing and thawing. It can also be dissolved according to the specific experimental reference methods. When diluting, it is recommended to add 0.1% albumin to the reaction buffer to avoid inactivation due to dilution.

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
