CPL207280 is an orally active GPR40/FFA1 agonist with an antidiabetic effect. CPL207280 can effectively enhance glucose-stimulated insulin secretion and improve glucose tolerance in MIN6 pancreatic β-cells as well as in healthy Wistar Han rats and diabetic rat models. CPL207280 can be used for the research of type 2 diabetes[1][2].

In Vivo

PL207280 (10 mg/kg; p.o.; single dose) exhibits hypoglycemic effects in Wistar Han rats, with (3 mg/kg; p.o.; single dose) pharmacokinetic parameters of Cmax, Tmax, and T1/2 being 1699 ng/mL, 1 h, and 1.41 h, respectively[1].
