Description

Avotaciclib (BEY1107) sulfate is an orally active cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (CDK1) inhibitor. Avotaciclib sulfate can inhibit the proliferation and induce apoptosis of tumor cells. Avotaciclib sulfate can be used in the research of cancer such as pancreatic cancer and lung cancer[1][2].

IC50 & Target[1]

CDK1

In Vitro

Avotaciclib (0-64 μM; 48 h) sulfate can inhibit cell proliferation and promote apoptosis in radiotherapy-resistant non-small cell lung cancer cell lines, and the effect is better when combined with PV-1019 (HY-125203)[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Viability Assay[2]

Cell Line: Non-small cell lung cancer cells (H1437R, H1568R, H1703R and H1869R)
Concentration: 0, 0.1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 μM
Incubation Time: 48 h
Result: Inhibited the cell viability, with EC50 values of 0.918, 0.580, 0.735 and 0.662 μM for H1437R, H1568R, H1703R and H1869R, respectively.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
