In Vitro

Antituberculosis agent-16 shows low cytotoxicity to Vero cells with an IC50 of 37.14 μg/mL[1].
Antituberculosis agent-16 has high cell membrane permeability with an apparent permeability coefficient (Papp) of 46.1×10-6 cm/s in Caco-2 assay[1].
Antituberculosis agent-16 (1-10 μg/mL, 72 h) dose-dependently reduces the intracellular Mycobacterium tuberculosis load in mouse J774A.1 macrophages[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
