14-3-3 beta Antibody (YA3955) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2b antibody, targeting to YWHAB. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

YWHAB is an adapter protein involved in regulating a broad spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. It binds to numerous partner proteins, typically by recognizing phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motifs, often resulting in modulation of the partner's activity. YWHAB acts as a negative regulator of osteogenesis. It blocks the nuclear translocation of SRPK2's phosphorylated form (mediated by AKT1) and counteracts its stimulatory effect on cyclin D1 expression, thereby inhibiting SRPK2-induced neuronal apoptosis. Additionally, it serves as a negative regulator of signaling cascades that activate MAP kinases via AKAP13.
