WDR1 Antibody (YA2417) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA2417), targeting WDR1, with a predicted molecular weight of 66 kDa (observed band size: 66 kDa). WDR1 Antibody (YA2417) can be used for WB, IHC-F, IHC-P, ICC/IF experiment in human background.

WDR1 is a protein that induces disassembly of actin filaments in conjunction with ADF/cofilin family proteins (PubMed:15629458, PubMed:27557945, PubMed:29751004). It enhances cofilin-mediated actin severing (By similarity). WDR1 is involved in cytokinesis and chemotactic cell migration by restricting lamellipodial membrane protrusions (PubMed:18494608), as well as in myocardium sarcomere organization. This protein is required for cardiomyocyte growth and maintenance (By similarity) and participates in megakaryocyte maturation and platelet shedding. During follicular epithelium development, WDR1 plays a crucial role in the establishment of planar cell polarity (PCP) and cell shape changes during PCP, a function that likely involves cooperation with CFL1 and/or DSTN/ADF. Additionally, WDR1 contributes to the generation/maintenance of cortical tension (By similarity) and is involved in the assembly and maintenance of epithelial apical cell junctions, playing a role in organizing the perijunctional actomyosin belt (PubMed:25792565).
