UL37 Antibody (YA4438)

UL37 Antibody (YA4438) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to UL37. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

UL37 is a ubiquitin-binding protein that specifically recognizes and binds Lys-63-linked ubiquitin chains. It plays a central role in the BRCA1-A complex by specifically binding Lys-63-linked ubiquitinated histones H2A and H2AX at DNA lesion sites, thereby targeting the BRCA1-BARD1 heterodimer to double-strand break (DSB) damage sites. The BRCA1-A complex also exhibits deubiquitinase activity, specifically removing Lys-63-linked ubiquitin chains from histones H2A and H2AX. UL37 weakly binds monoubiquitin but with significantly lower affinity than Lys-63-linked ubiquitin chains. It may interact with monoubiquitinated histones H2A and H2B, though the in vivo relevance of these interactions remains unclear. UL37 does not bind Lys-48-linked ubiquitin chains and may indirectly act as a transcriptional repressor by inhibiting the interaction between NR6A1 and the corepressor NCOR1.
