UBE1L Antibody (YA5097) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to UBE1L.

UBE1L is an E1-activating enzyme that catalyzes the covalent conjugation of the ubiquitin-like protein ISG15 to interferon-stimulated proteins (ISGs) and cellular proteins like P53, a process known as protein ISGylation. It plays a crucial role in antiviral immunity alongside ISG15 by restricting the replication of various viruses, including rabies virus, influenza virus, sindbis virus, rotavirus, and human cytomegalovirus. For instance, ISGylation of influenza A virus protein NS1 disrupts its interaction with importin-alpha, inhibiting nuclear import, while ISGylation of human cytomegalovirus protein UL26 regulates its stability and suppresses its ability to inhibit NF-kappa-B signaling.
