Description	TrpV5 Antibody (YA2284) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA2284), targeting TrpV5, with a predicted molecular weight of 83 kDa (observed band size: 83 kDa). TrpV5 Antibody (YA2284) can be used for WB, IP experiment in human, mouse, rat background.
Background	TrpV5 is a constitutively active calcium-selective cation channel implicated in Ca²⁺ reabsorption in the kidney and intestine. It is required for normal Ca²⁺ reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubules of the kidney (By similarity). The channel is activated by low internal calcium levels and exhibits inward rectification. Its Ca²⁺-dependent feedback regulation involves fast channel inactivation and slow current decay (By similarity). Heteromeric assembly with TRPV6 may alter channel properties, with TRPV5-TRPV6 heteromultimers displaying voltage-dependent gating (By similarity).
