TCF3 / E2A Antibody (YA3815) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to TCF3. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

E2A is a transcriptional regulator involved in the initiation of neuronal differentiation and mesenchymal to epithelial transition (MET) (by similar). It forms heterodimers with tissue-specific basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) proteins, playing key roles in determining tissue-specific cell fate during embryogenesis, such as muscle or early B-cell differentiation (by similar). Together with TCF15, it is required for mesenchymal to epithelial transition (by similar). The dimers bind DNA at E-box motifs (5'-CANNTG-3') (by similar) and also recognize the kappa-E2 site in the kappa immunoglobulin gene enhancer. Additionally, it binds to short DNA sequences IEB1 and IEB2 in the insulin gene transcription control region (by similar) and facilitates ATOH7 binding to the consensus sequence 5'-CAGGTG-3', positively regulating transcriptional activity.
