TAB2 Antibody (YA5074) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to TAB2.

TAB2 is an adapter protein that activates the JNK and NF-kappa-B signaling pathways by specifically recognizing 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains through its RanBP2-type zinc finger (NZF) domain. It functions as an adapter linking MAP3K7/TAK1 and TRAF6 to 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains, promoting autophosphorylation of MAP3K7/TAK1 and subsequent activation of the I-kappa-B-kinase (IKK) core complex. TAB2 also recognizes and binds heterotypic 'Lys-63'/'Lys-48'-linked branched ubiquitin chains. Additionally, it regulates IL1-mediated translocation of NCOR1 out of the nucleus (by similar) and plays a role in heart development.
