TAB2 Antibody (YA5074) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to TAB2. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

TAB2 is an adapter protein that activates the JNK and NF-kappa-B signaling pathways by specifically recognizing 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains through its RanBP2-type zinc finger (NZF) domain. It functions as an adapter linking MAP3K7/TAK1 and TRAF6 to 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains, promoting autophosphorylation of MAP3K7/TAK1 and subsequent activation of the I-kappa-B-kinase (IKK) core complex. TAB2 also recognizes and binds heterotypic 'Lys-63'/'Lys-48'-linked branched ubiquitin chains. Additionally, it regulates IL1-mediated translocation of NCOR1 out of the nucleus (by similar) and plays a role in heart development.
