Description	STAT5a Antibody (YA4012) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to STAT5A. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	STAT5 performs a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. It mediates cellular responses to the cytokine KITLG/SCF and other growth factors, as well as responses to ERBB4. STAT5 may also mediate cellular responses to activated FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3, and FGFR4. It binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription. During lactation, STAT5 regulates the expression of milk proteins. by similar: STAT5 is also involved in mediating cellular responses to other growth factors and may play roles in multiple signaling pathways.
