SDF1 Antibody (YA3188) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to SDF1.

SDF1 is a chemoattractant active on T-lymphocytes and monocytes but not neutrophils. It activates the C-X-C chemokine receptor CXCR4 to induce a rapid and transient rise in intracellular calcium ions and chemotaxis. SDF-1-beta(3-72) and SDF-1-alpha(3-67) exhibit reduced chemotactic activity. Binding to cell surface proteoglycans inhibits the formation of SDF-1-alpha(3-67), preserving activity at local sites. SDF1 also binds to the atypical chemokine receptor ACKR3, activating the beta-arrestin pathway and acting as a scavenger receptor for SDF-1. It binds to the allosteric site (site 2) of integrins, activating ITGAV:ITGB3, ITGA4:ITGB1, and ITGA5:ITGB1 in a CXCR4-independent manner. SDF1 acts as a positive regulator of monocyte migration and a negative regulator of monocyte adhesion via LYN kinase. It stimulates migration of monocytes and T-lymphocytes through CXCR4 and ACKR3 while reducing monocyte adherence to ICAM-1-coated surfaces. The SDF1A/CXCR4 signaling axis inhibits LFA-1-mediated monocyte adhesion to ICAM-1 via LYN kinase. SDF1 inhibits CXCR4-mediated T-cell line-adapted HIV-1 infection, plays a protective role post-myocardial infarction, and induces down-regulation and internalization of ACKR3. During embryonic development, SDF1 is critical for B-cell lymphopoiesis, myelopoiesis in bone marrow, and heart ventricular septum formation. It stimulates the proliferation of bone marrow-derived B-cell progenitors in the presence of IL7 and supports stromal cell-dependent pre-B-cell growth (By similarity).
