Description	hHR23A Antibody (YA4093) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2b antibody, targeting to RAD23A. It can be applicated for IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	RAD23A is a multiubiquitin chain receptor that modulates proteasomal degradation. It binds to Lys-48-linked polyubiquitin chains in a length-dependent manner and exhibits lower affinity for Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains. The protein is proposed to simultaneously bind the 26S proteasome and polyubiquitinated substrates, facilitating the delivery of ubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome. In nucleotide excision repair (NER), RAD23A functions similarly to RAD23B in global genome NER (GG-NER) by associating with XPC. The XPC:RAD23A dimer demonstrates NER activity in vitro and stabilizes XPC. Additionally, RAD23A participates in HIV-1 Vpr-dependent replication in non-proliferating cells and primary macrophages, where it is required for the association of HIV-1 Vpr with the host proteasome.
