Description	CD133 Antibody (YA3538) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD133.
Background	CD133 is a protein that may play a role in cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis (by similar). It binds cholesterol in cholesterol-containing plasma membrane microdomains and could be involved in organizing the apical plasma membrane of epithelial cells. During early retinal development, CD133 acts as a key regulator of disk morphogenesis. It is also involved in regulating the MAPK and Akt signaling pathways. In neuroblastoma cells, CD133 suppresses cell differentiation, such as neurite outgrowth, in a RET-dependent manner.
