Phospho-Parvin alpha (Ser8) Antibody (YA1539) can be used for WB, ICC/IF experiment in human, mouse, rat background.
Background	Parvin alpha plays a role in sarcomere organization and smooth muscle cell contraction, and is required for normal development of the embryonic cardiovascular system and proper septation of the heart outflow tract. It contributes to sprouting angiogenesis and facilitates normal adhesion of vascular smooth muscle cells to endothelial cells during blood vessel development (By similarity). Additionally, Parvin alpha is involved in actin cytoskeleton reorganization, lamellipodia formation, and ciliogenesis, and functions in establishing cell polarity, adhesion, spreading, and directed migration. Within the ILK-PINCH-PARVIN (IPP) complex, it binds to F-actin, promoting F-actin bundling—a process essential for generating force during actin cytoskeleton remodeling and subsequent dynamic cell adhesion events such as spreading and migration.
