Visfatin Antibody (YA5011) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to Visfatin.

PBEF catalyzes the condensation of nicotinamide with 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate to produce nicotinamide mononucleotide, an intermediate in NAD biosynthesis. As the rate-limiting component in mammalian NAD biosynthesis, its secreted form acts both as an immunomodulatory cytokine and an anti-diabetic adipokine, though it lacks enzymatic activity (partly due to insufficient ATP activation in extracellular spaces and plasma). The protein modulates circadian clock function via NAMPT-dependent oscillatory NAD production, which regulates the oscillation of clock target gene expression by releasing the core clock component CLOCK-BMAL1 heterodimer from NAD-dependent SIRT1-mediated suppression (By similarity).
