NUP98 Antibody (YA4083)

NUP98 Antibody (YA4083) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to NUP98. It can be applicated for WB, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, monkey.

NUP98 plays a role in the assembly and/or maintenance of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). Together with NUP96, it is involved in bidirectional transport across the NPC. NUP98 may anchor NUP153 and TPR to the NPC. In cooperation with DHX9, it activates transcription and alternative splicing of a subset of genes and is involved in the localization of DHX9 in discrete intranuclear foci (GLFG-body). During microbial infection, NUP98 interacts with HIV-1 capsid protein P24 and nucleocapsid protein P7, potentially promoting viral integration into the host nucleus (in vitro). Its binding affinity is reduced for HIV-1 CA-NC complexes carrying the capsid mutation Asn-74-Asp (in vitro).
