Description	NR1I2 Antibody (YA3558) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2b antibody, targeting to NR1I2. It can be applicated for ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	NR1I2 is a nuclear receptor that binds and is activated by a variety of endogenous and xenobiotic compounds. As a transcription factor, it activates the transcription of multiple genes involved in the metabolism and secretion of potentially harmful xenobiotics, drugs, and endogenous compounds. It is activated by the antibiotic rifampicin and various plant metabolites, such as hyperforin, guggulipid, colupulone, and isoflavones. The response to specific ligands is species-specific, and it can also be activated by naturally occurring steroids like pregnenolone and progesterone. NR1I2 binds to a response element in the promoters of the CYP3A4 and ABCB1/MDR1 genes.
