NOX2 Antibody (YA6330) is a rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to NOX2. It can be applicated for WB, IP, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

NOX2 is the catalytic subunit of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase complex, mediating electron transfer from cytosolic NADPH to O2 to generate superoxide anion (O2(-)). In the activated complex, electrons are first transferred from NADPH to flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) and then passed via two heme molecules to molecular oxygen, producing superoxide through an outer-sphere reaction. Activation of the NADPH oxidase complex is initiated by the assembly of cytosolic subunits with the core complex at the plasma or phagosomal membrane. This process is triggered by phosphorylation-dependent binding of the NCF1/p47-phox subunit to the C-terminus of CYBA/p22-phox (by similar). Interaction with NRROS impairs NADPH oxidase complex assembly (by similar).
