Nogo B Receptor Antibody (YA1414) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Nogo B Receptor.
Background

Nogo B Receptor forms the dehydrodolichyl diphosphate synthase (DDS) complex with DHDDS, an essential component of the dolichol monophosphate (Dol-P) biosynthetic machinery. Both subunits contribute to enzymatic activity, catalyzing the condensation of multiple isopentenyl pyrophosphate (IPP) units into farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP) to produce dehydrodolichyl diphosphate (Dedol-PP), a precursor of dolichol phosphate used as a sugar carrier in protein glycosylation in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The complex primarily synthesizes long-chain polyprenols, predominantly with C95 and C100 chain lengths. Additionally, Nogo B Receptor regulates the glycosylation and stability of nascent NPC2, facilitating LDL-derived cholesterol trafficking, and serves as a specific receptor for the N-terminus of Nogo-B, a neural and cardiovascular regulator.
