Description

IKB beta Antibody (YA4289) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to NFKBIB. It can be applicated for WB, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background

IκB β inhibits NF-kappa-B by forming a complex with it and trapping it in the cytoplasm. However, the unphosphorylated form resynthesized after cell stimulation can bind NF-kappa-B, facilitating its transport to the nucleus and protecting it from further NFKBIA-dependent inactivation. By associating with inhibitor kappa B-interacting NKIRAS1 and NKIRAS2, IκB β prevents its phosphorylation, making it more resistant to degradation, which explains its slower degradation rate.
