NBR1 Antibody (YA5466) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to NBR1. It can be applicated for ICC/IF, IHC-P assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

NBR1 is a ubiquitin-binding autophagy adapter involved in various processes, including host defense and intracellular homeostasis. It plays a dual role in selective autophagy by acting as a shuttle to deliver ubiquitinated proteins to autophagosomes and by participating in protein aggregate formation. In innate immune response regulation, NBR1 modulates type I interferon production and targets ubiquitinated IRF3 for autophagic degradation. Under oxidative stress, NBR1 promotes SQSTM1 accumulation, phosphorylation, and body formation by inhibiting its autophagic degradation (by similar), thereby activating the KEAP1-NRF2/NFE2L2 antioxidant pathway (by similar). Additionally, NBR1 has non-autophagy functions, mediating IL-12 transport to late endosomes for subsequent secretion (by similar).
