Myosin Light Chain 2 Antibody (YA2709) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Myosin Light Chain 2.

The related gene encodes a major sarcomeric protein in mammalian striated muscle. The encoded protein plays a role in embryonic heart muscle structure and function, while phosphorylation of the encoded protein is involved in cardiac myosin cycling kinetics, torsion and function in adults. Mutations in The related gene are associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy 10 and infant-onset myopathy.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat heart tissue using MYL2 Antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 8 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
