LYRIC Antibody (YA4978) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to MTDH. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

LYRIC is a multifunctional protein that down-regulates SLC1A2/EAAT2 promoter activity when expressed ectopically. It activates the nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-kappa-B) transcription factor and promotes anchorage-independent growth of immortalized melanocytes and astrocytes, a key component in tumor cell expansion. Additionally, LYRIC promotes lung metastasis and affects bone and brain metastasis, possibly by enhancing the seeding of tumor cells to the target organ endothelium. It also induces chemoresistance.
