KLHL22 Antibody (YA4937) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to KLHL22. It can be applicated for WB, ICC/IF, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

KLHL22 is a substrate-specific adapter of the BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, essential for chromosome alignment and PLK1 localization at kinetochores. The BCR(KLHL22) complex mediates monoubiquitination of PLK1, causing its dissociation from phosphoreceptor proteins and removal from kinetochores, thereby silencing the spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC) and promoting chromosome segregation. PLK1 monoubiquitination does not lead to its degradation (by similar). Additionally, the BCR(KLHL22) complex facilitates amino acid-stimulated 'Lys-48' polyubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of DEPDC5. By degrading DEPDC5, it relieves GATOR1 complex-mediated inhibition of the TORC1 pathway, acting as an amino acid-dependent activator in the amino acid-sensing branch of TORC1 signaling, indirectly regulating cellular processes like cell growth and autophagy (by similar).
