HOPX Antibody (YA846)

HOPX Antibody (YA846) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to HOPX.

HOPX is an atypical homeodomain protein that does not bind DNA and is essential for cardiac growth and development. It modulates the expression of SRF-dependent cardiac-specific genes and cardiac development by interacting with SRF. HOPX inhibits SRF-dependent transcription either by preventing SRF binding to DNA or by recruiting histone deacetylase (HDAC) proteins to block transcription. Overexpression of HOPX leads to cardiac hypertrophy. Additionally, HOPX acts as a co-chaperone for HSPA1A and HSPA1B (by similarity), assisting in chaperone-mediated protein refolding.
