Description	Hes1 Antibody (YA387) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Hes1.
Background	Hes1 is a transcriptional repressor targeting genes that require bHLH proteins for their transcription. It may negatively regulate myogenesis by inhibiting the functions of MYOD1 and ASH1. Hes1 binds DNA with high affinity to N-box motifs (5'-CACNAG-3') and with low affinity to E-box motifs (5'-CANNTG-3') (By similarity). Additionally, Hes1 may play a role in the FA core complex's response to DNA cross-link damage, ensuring the stability and nuclear localization of FA core complex proteins, as well as promoting FANCD2 monoubiquitination upon DNA damage.
