Description	Glucose Transporter GLUT2 Antibody (YA408) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Glucose Transporter GLUT2.
Background	GLUT2 is a facilitative hexose transporter that mediates the transport of glucose, fructose, and galactose. It likely facilitates the bidirectional transfer of glucose across the plasma membrane of hepatocytes and is responsible for glucose uptake by beta cells, potentially forming part of the glucose-sensing mechanism in beta cells. Additionally, GLUT2 may collaborate with the Na(+)/glucose cotransporter in the transcellular transport of glucose in the small intestine and kidney and can also mediate the transport of dehydroascorbate.
