Description

MUC6 Antibody (YA3514) is an unconjugated, mouse-derived, anti-Gastric Mucin monoclonal antibody. Gastric Mucin Antibody can be used for: IHC-P expriments in human background without labeling.

Background

Gastric Mucin is a gastric mucus protein that may modulate the composition of the protective mucus layer in response to acid secretion or the presence of bacteria and noxious agents in the lumen. It plays a crucial role in the cytoprotection of epithelial surfaces and serves as a tumor marker in various cancers. Additionally, Gastric Mucin may be involved in epithelial organogenesis.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
