Description	Frizzled 5 Antibody (YA4239) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to FZD5. It can be applicated for WB, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	FZD5 is a receptor for Wnt proteins and functions in the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. In vitro, it activates signaling by WNT2, WNT10B, and WNT5A but not WNT2B or WNT4 (By similarity). In neurons, activation by WNT7A promotes synapse formation. It may be involved in transmitting polarity information during tissue morphogenesis or in differentiated tissues (Probable). Additionally, FZD5 plays roles in yolk sac angiogenesis, placental vascularization (By similarity), and ocular development.
