Filamin A Antibody (YA435) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Filamin A.
Background

Filamin 1 is a multifunctional cytoskeletal protein that promotes orthogonal branching of actin filaments and links them to membrane glycoproteins. It anchors various transmembrane proteins to the actin cytoskeleton and serves as a scaffold for cytoplasmic signaling proteins. Interaction with FLNB may facilitate neuroblast migration from the ventricular zone to the cortical plate (By similarity). Filamin 1 modulates the internalization rate and intracellular trafficking of cell surface-localized furin (By similarity) and is involved in ciliogenesis. It plays roles in cell-cell contacts and adherens junctions during blood vessel, heart, and brain development. Through interaction with SYK, Filamin 1 regulates platelet morphology by maintaining cytoskeletal organization via ITAM- and ITAM-like receptor signaling pathways (By similarity). During axon guidance, it is required for SEMA3A-induced growth cone collapse in neurons.
