Description

ERR alpha Antibody (YA2283) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to ERR alpha.

Background

The protein encoded by The related gene is a nuclear receptor that is most closely related to the estrogen receptor. The protein acts as a site-specific transcription factor and interacts with members of the PGC-1 family of transcription cofactors to regulate the expression of most related genes involved in cellular energy production as well as in the process of mitochondrial biorelated genesis. A processed pseudorelated gene of ESRRA is located on chromosome 13q12.1.

  • Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from MCF-7 (lane 1, 15 μg), Hela (lane 2, 15 μg), Mouse brain (lane 3, 15 μg), and Rat brain (lane 4, 15 μg) using ERR alpha Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Actin, HY-P83730, 1:20000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
