Description	EDN1 Antibody (YA3655) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2a antibody, targeting to EDN1. It can be applicated for ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse.
Background	EDN1 is an endothelium-derived vasoconstrictor peptide (by similar). It is a probable ligand for G-protein coupled receptors EDNRA and EDNRB, activating the PTK2B, BCAR1, BCAR3, and GTPases RAP1 and RHOA cascade in glomerular mesangial cells. EDN1 also binds the DEAR/FBXW7-AS1 receptor (by similar). It promotes mesenteric arterial wall remodeling via ROCK signaling activation, leading to colocalization of NFATC3 with F-actin filaments. Subsequently, NFATC3 translocates to the nucleus, promoting the transcription of the smooth muscle hypertrophy and differentiation marker ACTA2 (by similar).
