Description	DPEP1/MDP Antibody (YA1231) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1231), targeting DPEP1/MDP. DPEP1/MDP Antibody (YA1231) can be used for IHC-P experiment in human background.
Background	DPEP1/MDP is a multifunctional enzyme that hydrolyzes a wide range of dipeptides, including the conversion of leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4, and the hydrolysis of cystinyl-bis-glycine (cys-bis-gly) during glutathione degradation. Additionally, it exhibits beta lactamase activity and can hydrolyze the beta-lactam antibiotic imipenem. Independently of its dipeptidase activity, DPEP1/MDP also functions as an adhesion receptor for neutrophil recruitment from the bloodstream into inflamed lungs and liver. by similar content includes its beta lactamase activity and neutrophil recruitment function.
