Description

DOCK8 Antibody (YA2713) is a non-conjugated IgG antibody, targeting DOCK8, with a predicted molecular weight of 239 kDa (observed band size: 239 kDa). DOCK8 Antibody (YA2713) can be used for WB experiment in human background.

Background

DOCK8 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that specifically activates the small GTPase CDC42 by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP (PubMed:22461490, PubMed:28028151). During immune responses, it is required for interstitial dendritic cell (DC) migration by locally activating CDC42 at the leading edge membrane of DC (By similarity). Additionally, DOCK8 promotes CD4(+) T-cell migration in response to chemokine stimulation by enhancing CDC42 activation at the T cell leading edge membrane (PubMed:28028151). It also plays a role in NK cell cytotoxicity by controlling microtubule-organizing center (MTOC) polarization and potentially regulating CCDC88B-mediated lytic granule transport to MTOC during cell killing (PubMed:25762780).
