DLX5 Antibody (YA2342)

DLX5 Antibody (YA2342) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to DLX5.

DLX5 is a transcriptional factor involved in bone development, functioning as an immediate early BMP-responsive transcriptional activator essential for osteoblast differentiation. It stimulates ALPL promoter activity in a RUNX2-independent manner and enhances SP7 promoter activity during osteoblast differentiation. Additionally, DLX5 promotes cell proliferation by upregulating MYC promoter activity and acts as a positive regulator of both chondrogenesis and chondrocyte hypertrophy in the endochondral skeleton. It binds to the homeodomain-response element of the ALPL and SP7 promoters, as well as the MYC promoter, requiring the 5'-TAATTA-3' consensus sequence for DNA binding.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Mouse heart tissue using DLX5 Antibody (YA2342). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 2 minutes. The tissues were blocked in QuickBlock for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (HY-P82597, 1/100) in 4℃ overnight. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
