DGKZ Antibody (YA1222) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to DGKZ.

DGKZ is a diacylglycerol kinase that converts diacylglycerol (DAG) into phosphatidic acid (PA), regulating the levels of these two bioactive lipids. It acts as a central switch between DAG and PA signaling pathways, influencing diverse cellular targets and biological processes. Additionally, DGKZ plays a role in complex lipid biosynthesis and shows no acyl chain-dependent substrate specificity among DAG species. It can also phosphorylate 1-alkyl-2-acylglycerol in vitro, albeit less efficiently, with preference for arachidonoyl-containing alkylacylglycerols. In T cell activation, DGKZ negatively regulates T-cell receptor signaling (by similar). By producing PA, it stimulates PIP5KIA activity to regulate actin polymerization and may positively regulate insulin-induced SLC2A4 membrane translocation (by similar). Conflicting data exist regarding its regulation of RASGRP1 activity.
