Background	CTBP1 is a corepressor that targets diverse transcription regulators such as GLIS2 or BCL6. It exhibits dehydrogenase activity and is involved in controlling the equilibrium between tubular and stacked structures in the Golgi complex. Additionally, CTBP1 plays a role in brown adipose tissue (BAT) differentiation.
