CPV-NS1 Antibody (YA4616) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CPV-NS1. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, monkey.

CPV-NS1 is a multifunctional protein exhibiting endonuclease and helicase activities essential for initiating and directing viral DNA replication. It also participates in viral packaging and transactivation of multiple promoters. CPV-NS1 binds site-specifically to 2-3 approximate tandem copies within the origins of replication (Ori), unwinds the hairpin region, and nicks one DNA strand to initiate rolling circle replication (RCR). It cooperatively binds Ori with host PIF and likely other host factors, activating its nickase function. CPV-NS1 becomes covalently attached to the 5' end of the nick and provides a 3'OH primer for DNA synthesis. Its helicase activity unwinds DNA in a 3'-5' direction on the longer strand. Additionally, it inhibits the host cell cycle during G1/S, S-phase, and G2/M transitions, potentially supplying cellular factors for viral DNA replication. CPV-NS1 also promotes host cell apoptosis.
