CHRDL1 Antibody (YA5233) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to CHRDL1. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC assays, in the background of human.
Background

CHRDL1 is a protein that antagonizes the function of BMP4 by binding to it and preventing its interaction with receptors. It alters the fate commitment of neural stem cells from gliogenesis to neurogenesis and promotes neuronal differentiation of neural stem cells in the brain by preventing the adoption of a glial fate. CHRDL1 may play a crucial role in dorsoventral axis formation and contribute to embryonic bone formation (By similarity). Additionally, it may regulate retinal angiogenesis by modulating BMP4 actions in endothelial cells and plays a role during anterior segment eye development.
