Cenexin1 Antibody (YA1805) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA1805), targeting Cenexin1, with a predicted molecular weight of 95 kDa (observed band size: 95 kDa). Cenexin1 Antibody (YA1805) can be used for WB, FC experiment in human background.

Background

Cenexin1 appears to be a major component of sperm tail outer dense fibers (ODFs), which are filamentous structures located on the outside of the axoneme in the midpiece and principal piece of the mammalian sperm tail, potentially aiding in maintaining the passive elastic structures and elastic recoil of the sperm tail. It may modulate sperm motility. Additionally, Cenexin1 functions as a general scaffold protein specifically localized at the distal/subdistal appendages of mother centrioles. It is a component of the centrosome matrix required for the localization of PLK1 and NIN to the centrosomes and is necessary for the formation and/or maintenance of normal CETN1 assembly.
