Description

CD85G Antibody (YA4112) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CD85G. It can be applicated for WB, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

Background

CD85G functions as a coreceptor to limit innate immune responses to viral infections via FCER1G-mediated signaling. It downregulates the production of IFNA1, IFNA2, IFNA4, IFNB1, and TNF by plasmacytoid dendritic cells exposed to influenza virus or CpG dinucleotides, acting as a negative regulator of TLR7 and TLR9 signaling cascades. Additionally, CD85G suppresses interferon production through interaction with BST2 on HIV-1-infected cells. In complex with FCER1G, it activates a signaling cascade leading to phosphorylation of Src family and Syk kinases, triggering intracellular Ca2+ mobilization. Notably, CD85G does not interfere with the differentiation of plasmacytoid dendritic cells into antigen-presenting cells. by similar: These functions align with CD85G's central role in immune regulation.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
