Description	CD49C Antibody (YA3913) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD49C.
Background	CD49C, a component of integrin alpha-3/beta-1, serves as a receptor for fibronectin, laminin, collagen, epiligrin, thrombospondin, and CSPG4. This integrin provides a docking site for FAP (seprase) at invadopodia plasma membranes in a collagen-dependent manner, potentially participating in cell adhesion, invadopodia formation, and matrix degradation to promote invasion. Additionally, alpha-3/beta-1 may collaborate with LGALS3 to mediate CSPG4-induced endothelial cell migration. (Microbial infection context) ITGA3:ITGB1 might act as a receptor for R.delemar CotH7 in alveolar epithelial cells, possibly contributing to early-stage pulmonary mucormycosis progression. by similar: Integrin alpha-3/beta-1 functions in extracellular matrix recognition and cell migration regulation.
